Richard Williams

Richard Williams founded Wandsworth Youth Enterprise Centre (WYEC) with a number of other local people working with young potential entrepreneurs in 1986.

Richard has been a Trustee throughout the period since then and stepped down as Chair in 2007. Richard is currently Chair of Enterprise Development Worldwide (EDW). 

A production manager by profession, Richard has worked at a senior level in the Voluntary and Community Sector for over 26 years, with a special interest in youth enterprise, employment initiatives, environmental issues, diversity and social enterprise.

Richard has lived in Tooting Bec for over 27 years. He is currently Director of Enterprise for the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Richard is a Trustee of Masai Education Development Trust, a patron of Minorities of Europe and a Vice President of BTCV. He is also on the Board of the Social Enterprise Coalition.
