Philip Mills PG Cert, BA (Hons) Business Enterprise
Youth Engagement Consultant

Philip Mills has extensive experience working in the youth and community sectors as a mentor, facilitator, community relations and outreach officer, and more recently, as a project coordinator. 

In his varied roles, Philip, who has direct experience working with individuals and groups from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds, developed skills in project management, programme development, business advice and planning.   

For over three years, Philip was employed by Wandsworth Youth Enterprise Centre (WYEC) as an Outreach and Community Development Officer engaging with and working directly with young people on its businesslaunchpad initiative. In addition to this, he has been involved in the EDW team’s capacity building projects, providing training in outreach techniques to other organisations in the UK and Central Europe.

Previously, Philip spent two years as Client Relationship Manager for Street (UK) Limited, a not-for-profit Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI).  Street (UK) Limited, whose parent company, Street (UK) Foundation, is a registered charity, specialises in the provision of financial business support and advisory services for the owners of small businesses, the self-employed and individuals, in Birmingham, England, to enable them to access finance. 

Philip is currently in his final year reading for an MA in Youth and Community Work.
