Christopher Singer, FBCS, CITP

Christopher Singer has extensive knowledge of Third World development and of the organisational demands and experience required to implement practical programmes in challenging environments and locations, such as ex-conflict zones in rural Africa, with particular emphasis on vocational training.  

Christopher collaborates with EDW through providing his own expertise as well as that of other professionals, either as volunteers or consultants. These individuals have expertise in such areas as agronomy, environmental specialisms and vocational training, including region-specific agricultural, environmental and industrial management techniques. Christopher is a Director of British Consultancy Limited and co-founder of British Consultancy Charitable Trust.

A successful entrepreneur himself, Christopher has spent 30 years creating new products, services and companies in the field of computers and electronics in the UK, USA and elsewhere. He also previously worked as a volunteer for British Executive Services Overseas (BESO), with circa 20 assignments, in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia. Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

Christopher is working closely with EDW by providing the environmental and agricultural vocational training skills for the establishment and piloting of three demonstration Vocational and Enterprise Training Institutes in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
