Encouraging students to consider becoming entrepreneurs
MIVAK is one of the largest schools in Gyongyos, with 700 pupils between the ages of 15 and 20. EDW’s youngbusiness.net 2 programme added valuable practical enterprise training to MIVAK’s existing theoretical and vocational curriculum.
The school has been teaching both theoretical and practical economics since 1994 and now offers vocational courses in electronics, informatics, mechanics and economics. Through participation in the youngbusiness.net 2 programme, the school undertook many activities to raise students awareness of work and self-employment options. Business Development and Awareness Training Days were held and feedback from the students was very positive.
With the support of youngbusiness.net 2, we are now better equipped to help those who do decide to set up new businesses, thanks to the techniques we have learned through the programme.
