A successful enterprise incubator relies on the fostering of an entrepreneurial spirit
The EDW team, together with UK Business Incubation (UKBI), undertook a feasibility study, commissioned by Tynedale Council, into the viability of converting a school in Prudhoe into a youth enterprise incubator.
The EDW team researched the practical considerations, constraints and demand from young entrepreneurs, and the barriers they faced, identifying the support structures needed to facilitate the process. A joint recommendation was made with regard to the implementation of an appropriate programme.
